TAMPA, FLA. -- (Jan. 2012) – Shannon M. Sheppard has joined Bricklemyer Smolker & Bolves, P.A., a Tampa law firm concentrating in real estate and property rights representation, as an Of Counsel attorney. Since 2004, Ms. Sheppard has concentrated her practice in the area of commercial real estate transactions. Before Bricklemyer Smolker & Bolves, P.A., she practiced law at an “AmLaw 100” law firm in Atlanta and worked in-house for a public REIT. Ms. Sheppard represents developers and institutional investors in the acquisition, disposition, financing and development of multifamily, office, retail, hotel and industrial assets. She handles all aspects of acquisition and disposition transactions and has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating real estate purchase agreements. Ms. Sheppard also represents borrowers and lenders in acquisition, construction and permanent financing transactions. She has significant experience in forming real estate businesses, including joint ventures.
Ms. Sheppard earned a J.D. degree magna cum laude from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. She also earned a B.A degree summa cum laude from the University of Indianapolis.
